PS PAUL SMITH
For spring/summer ’19 PS Paul Smith look to original photographs taken by Paul and his father Harold for inspiration. Paul Smith’s in-house print design used these photographs to create unique graphics where the original photographs were manipulated and transformed via collage, overprinting and over dying, in direct reference to the punk and pop art influences of the collection.
This season’s colour palette draws from images of Cuba in the 90's, which is reflected in the use of pastel pink and turquoise shades mixed with moody sky grey-blues. These core colours are contrasted by flashes of saturated red, orange and teal.
